  1. Caffeine: If you cannot start your day without caffeine, you can drink a cup of coffee or black tea in the morning.
  2. Unpasteurized dairy products: Listeria, Salmonella and other harmful bacteria are present in raw milk and soft cheeses like ricotta, feta, blue cheese etc.
  3. Sugary Food: Eating sugary cereals, cinnamon buns, yogurt with high sugar fruits, donuts etc. in the beginning of the day can increase the blood sugar level. Consuming too much of these during pregnancy increases the risk of gestational diabetes.
